This is by far the superior story from this author who does SH and JR. > Yokozawa Takafumi no Baai which is apart of the Sekaiichi Hatsukoi universe but it is a stand alone I don't personally recommend SH because it's very dramatic with it's characters but if you're into that then by all means. > Junjou Romantic the set up is great where you get more than one story, personal opinion on those aside it's good but season 3 and those ovas are much higher quality and worth the time. > Doukyuusei is not that and you should love it and read the manga because it goes past their high school days and gets even better.
